She arrived. The blue returned. The red returned. And with them, the feeling I was after—the heart of the piece—clicked into place. This session captures that quiet but unmistakable moment of arrival. There’s still work to be done, yes, but the composition is finally whole. I experimented with mother of pearl again—glossy, glowy, a little wild—and it lit something up in me. This is what it’s like when I trust the process, when I follow the feeling instead of second-guessing it. And now, Horizon feels alive. Expansive. Free.
